This is the Dragon Ball portion of my page. Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toryama. It is about seven magical dragon balls. Each Dragon Ball has a special number of stars on each one which shows its identity. If someone found all of these seven balls, they could summon the mystical dragon and the dragon would grant this person one wish. After the person makes their wish, the dragon splits back into the seven balls and the balls separate into different directions to spread across the world. These balls can only be used once per year and in the time that they can't be used, they look like little balls of stone.

The story's main character is called Son Goku. His name is based on the Chinese mythological character of the monkey king who has the same name. This story starts when Goku runs into someone called Bulma. Bulma was looking for the seven Dragon Balls and Goku happened to have one. Bulma asks Goku to join her in her journey and that is where Goku's adventure begins. In his adventures, Goku meets new friends and even new enemies.

Since Dragon Ball was so popular, a TV series was created about it. The TV series is exactly the same as the manga except that it has extra scenes added to make it better. Dragon Ball ends, but the fans were looking for more so a new series called Dragon Ball Z was created. This new series is a little more serious with a lot more fighting. This series ended on the May of 1995 but a new series called Dragon Ball GT was released in Japan right after the last DBZ episode.
